Let bees be your hobby

The
Warre hive isn't too popular in New Zealand but is worth commenting on.
It is almost like a cross between the Lanstroth and the Topbar hive as
it is a stackable box system with topbars and sometimes sidebars in it
but the box itself is smaller in volume than a Langstroth. I think the
original designer was trying to mimmic the natural bees environment if
they had built their hive in a hollowed out tree but still keeping it
practical for the beekeeper.
They are generally a smaller hive and would only handle a smaller
population, but that could serve as both a positive or a negitive feature
