The Langstroth hive are the most commonly used hive in New Zealand.
Its advantages is its expandability and adaptability for the beekeeper.
Because they are the standard hive in NZ, its components are easy to
get ahold of. The disadvantage to this hive is that you do need to have
room to store its componants while not in use and you do have to disassemble the hive to inspect it.
